MEMBERSHIP! The Cracker Creek Museum of Mining in Sumpter, Oregon would not exist without its membership! Every non-profit organization depends on its membership base for the strength to sustain its operations and growth and Cracker Creek Mining Museum is no exception! PURPOSE OF A CCMM MEMBER Members of the Cracker Creek Mining Museum have diverse backgrounds but they all have one thing in common: their interest in preserving and restoring our important Sumpter Valley Gold Mining History and culture. We depend on members with different skills, who may, or may not, live in the area, to help maintain and support the museum as well as mining artifacts we receive from the public. Museum Members who do not live in the area may wish to show their interest with financial suppport by becoming Members, while local resident members may enjoy rolling up their sleeves and contributing their time, skills, or even equipment, to the physical work required to maintain the museum here in Sumpter, Oregon.
