Every non-profit organization depends on its membership base for the strength to sustain its operations and growth and the CCMM is no exception! PURPOSE OF A CCMM MEMBER Our members have diverse backgrounds but they all have one thing in common: their interest in preserving and restoring our Sumpter Valley Gold Mining History and culture. We depend on members with different skills to help maintain and support the museum as well as mining artifacts we receive from the public. Museum Members who do not live in the area may wish to show their interest with financial suppport, while local resident members may enjoy rolling up their sleeves and contributing their time and skills to the physical work required to maintain the museum here in Sumpter, Oregon.
